recommendation 4 gallery builders!

normally for video galleries, i was using TMPGenc for chopping. ImageGrabber for video captures and photoshop for cropping/resizing/improving captures.

a couple days ago, the same day i bought my LCD monitor (now my eyes arent so sore!!!!), i bought a sony dvd burner which came with a program called Nero Express.

it comes with this built in movie editor and it's fucking great for building galleries.
you can chop up large video files while @ the same time taking nice quality video caps using almost no memory (shits lightening fast) and it has a memory efficient photo editor built in as well where you can crop/resize all your video caps -- all in the same program and the program is free w/ your dvd burner!!!!

my time spent on gallery building has decreased dramatically and is 100x more time efficient... more money is going to result in this and i thought i would share this wonderful discovery in hopes that it'll make some of your lives more easy.

are you talking about the DVD creator disc included or just the nero express alone? i also got Asus dvd writer and bundled with dvd creator... but no chance to explore it.

i'm talking about nero express alone.. it came with the dvd burner, the disc doesnt say DVD creator disc but i'm guessing it's most likely the same thing.. my disc says "Sony software disc"

Never tried Nero Express although I have it, I can recommend VideoCharge, it does everything from format conversion to batch cutting / resizing / thumbnailing, and it's not expensive at all.

What version of Nero was that?

Good info, man! Bookmarked. Your advice also has mainstream applications (funny video site content management work and video blogs).

I agree with this one as well. Videocharge is a great program.
