Question about Word Press...
I just added a couple pages via the online editor. Then I click the "view" link and it takes me to nothing. Am I supposed to do something else for the page to start showing up? I really don't know how this works. Help!

Did you have publish or draft selected? click manage then view to see if draft is selected, if it is click publish and re-save it.
|
Gots to hit the publish button.
|
I think I will code mine to make 'publish' default, now that I think about it.
. |
Ok sorry guys but I don't see any publish button. Where is it? Can someone do a quick screen cap please?

Oh you guys are talking about "posts". I'm talking about "pages". I created several pages.
|
I just tried it real quick. I hit "create new page", then I clicked "manage" >> "pages" and then "view" and the page was there. If it's still not working, try their forum http://wordpress.org/tags/pages, you'll almost always find your problem was already someone elses.

Yeah sorry. What you need is a template that does pages. Blix does, there are some others. K2 is another offhand, and simply grey I believe does too. |
Out of interest, why are you creating (or at least trying to create) pages and not posts? What happens when you write a post, does that work? I'm trying to figure out what you're doing wrong - well to be honest I'm trying to figure out what you're doing :) And you do NOT need a template that does pages for it to work, it will default if no page template exists
