pda + gps
in the market for a decent (mid range) PDA + a good GPS for it. I heard Pharos is good for GPS, are there any other good ones? I'm thinking of getting like a used Axim or something, and then getting Pharos. Can make a good GPS system for my car and I can bring it anywhere too. Anyone else have any pda/gps setups now?

No, because where I live, it doesn't fucking work. wanna buy a used fucking palm bvd?

Mitac Mio 168
I bought it and I love it http://www.pocketgps.ru/lib/2039/mitac168_05.jpg http://www.geochallenge.hu/bolt/ipaq/img/mio168.jpg |
I have a HP Ipaq Hx2410 with a bluetooth GPS antenna and TomTom3 installed on the PDA - works PREFECT - 3D maps, Points of interrests, Nearest gas and stuff like that

ebus, how much was your full setup? I heard TomTom is supposed to be good.

I have an ipaq(for 2-3 years now) with TomTom(5) it rocks. Much better then some really expensive systems. Also you can easily insert speedcams etc.
However, when I would buy a system now, I would go for the Mio, since that one has the GPS build in...So you can also use it outside the car(and 12 volts) |
ipaq + gps antenna + 'i go' on an sd card. the way to go. i go is pretty good.
