Jay-Z Ponders Coming Out Of Retirement
Source
Hip-hop superstar Jay-Z is planning a comeback two years after hanging up his microphone, because he misses performing. The star retired in 2003, insisting he wanted to quit at the top of his game, but sources say he is struggling to stay away and isn't satisfied with his behind-the-scenes role as the president of Def Jam Records. So much so, he's reportedly heading back to the studio to record a new album. A source tells the New York Daily News, "He's looking to get an album out by the beginning of summer, says a source close to the performer. It's on his radar. "He's been talking with (Island Def Jam chairman) Antonio 'LA' Reid about it. The guest spots (he's done) made him miss recording. He looks around and knows there aren't a lot of people, except maybe Kanye (West), who can touch him." |

Coming out of retirement? At his age? But he's so old.
Saw this coming before he retired. |
Really not a surprise ... but I don't see nothing wrong about it . He's one of the only rappers throwing out cds that I still enjoy listening too
|
that fool's been on remixes and tracks all over the place, how is that considered retired? lmao...

Surprise, surprise.... this was as inevitable as the sun coming up this morning.
Other then his old 90's stuff the best stuff "he's" done in awhile is Dj Danger Mouse's mashup, The Grey Album. That shit was tight. |

I'm not surprised, too bad cause he went out good in his last video 99 problems with him getting shot at the end.
I heard about this a while ago, he was goin to make a album to teach 50 Cent a lesson, since 50 thinks he is the king of new york. |
