Hell yeah they are. The best part is its an apple, so you can just pretend that you're eating something healthy and feel better about the whole situation. :thumbsup

Really people, a carmel apple on a stick is just silly as all hell logistically speaking at least though they are indeed tasty.
So to make this culinary edible more practicle may I suggest next time cutting the apple into wedges after it has been carmalized or if your doing your own pre cut them and use toothpick sticks. Both work much better and are a great deal easier to manage.

Next topic frozen bananna's and chipped teeth. :winkwink:

God I want one now, how do you make those things?

That is a great idea, however the one flaw that I have found in the past is that the exposed inner apple turns brown after a short period of being on deck to be eaten, and thus makes the whole situation less attractive. If only we could invent some type of spray or coating the prevent this from happening, we would be rich and our children could grow up being the heirs to an apple preservation empire.

I'll call Dow and see if they will lend us a few chemical engineers for this project.

They have kits at the grocery store. Heat the caramel and melt it over an apple with a stick in it and app the topings of your choice, mine is ground peanuts or walnuts. Although some stores sell $8 caramel apples with Oreo Cookie pieces or sprinkles, so apparantly those are desirable toppings as well.

Such a chemical is called asorbic acid. Or you can just delute some lemon, lime, or any citrus juice and use it. Prevent oxidation of the fruit. Hell you do not even need to delute it really.
