Holy shit, with millions of users everyday, they are popping a nasty unclosable popup that links to interneteraser...

They must have become the biggest affiliate of the program now...

OR.... someone is paying some heavy ad bucks.. :)

do you think filesharing users would buy anything once they found that so many students serve thousands of gigabytes of mp3s and warez from their university connections? ;)

i am guessing there must be a lot of kazaa users afraid of being caught for what they do

I don't use kazaa but I'd assume its like morpheus.. lots of CP...

Bearshare had been doing this since about 4 months ago. I stopped using Bearshare because of the Savenow software that is installed ith it. Every page you go to it send info on what to advertise on your desktop .

Regardless I was curious as to why fucking some pop ups would just pop up on my pc random, even if I didnt have IE open, and it was bearshare running many Ad proggies in the background.

I can only bet Kazaa is the same. They are some nasty fucking programmers. I have an aol account that I have had since 1993 just to keep the old email address, anyway, checking my mail a few days ago, I noticed the purple Bonzi Buddy and I know Bearshare backs that so I can only imagine what kind of spy/ad ware they are compiling now...

My computer runs so much better after deleting Kazzaa and bearshare its pathetic...
