Mis-types and SEO help please.
I'll give you an example of my situation.
Lets say I own both "Dik.com" and "Dick.com" (which I don't). In an attempt at branding...lets say I want to use "Dik.com" as the main domain and the name of the site. So I forward all "Dick.com" type-ins to "Dik.com" How is this going to effect my SEO ranking since my main domain is basically a mis-type? How much of an effect does the domain name have if any? Which domain name do I do all my SEO work on? I'm guessing not "Dick.com" because its simply a forward and not the actual content. I own two domain names that are in the same situation as my "Dick and Dik" example....I want to know how to get the best use out of them but only branding the "Dik" mis-spelt version. |
good luck getting any solid SEO advice here...
