I come from a very catholic upbringing and in ireland - considering playboy magazine was only allowed into the country five years ago - we live in a very moral and backwards country

i know for a fact my parents wouldnt be too happy knowing about my online work and presence - what about you - do u ever have issues telling ur friends or famly what you do ?

My parents are both passed away. My mother knew though for the last few years and while it's not something she'd condone, she also didnt protest. My brothers and sister know. No problem.

I know been there many times, but you could also bend something negative to something positive, get some .IE porn sites or so (if thats possible)

yeah u could register .ie if your an irish business only or possibly a mutli national corp with irish offices - and yes ive thought about it but theyre more expensive than normal domains @ about $80 - $120 a pop

My parents knew from the day I started (my dad always calls with new ideas and website names lol). They are pretty open minded, used to be Hippies, very liberal, antiwar business owners (yea that does exist). They are in their mid 70's now and my dad tells me every year around tax season "Don't forget to pay your taxes, don't forget to pay your taxes, if something ever happens the first thing they are going to do is check if you paid your taxes"

you guys notice sales difference due to ramadan??? cant believe thats true, been in this biz for 15+ yrs (dutch dailers too) but nothing like ramadan jewish new year chinese new year or whatever ever made our turnover fluctuate

i doubt it would make much difference to sales once the work is put in - a week or two away from the computer wont make much difference

everyone goes to the mosk in the evening, and after that people visit eachother allot. So there is less 'private' time

My parents are more against entrepreneurship than adult. My Dad is a failed entrepreneur, and it made him scared and bitter.

My mom supports what I do. It's legal, why not? She prefers that I produce the stuff rather than buy it.

My mother thinks I'm feeding the perversions of deviants and generally nurturing everything that is wrong with our society. But I make a decent living while being able to be home with my children when they need me so she pretends it's not true and we don't talk about it.

being raised in a strict catholic school and christian parents i doubt if they will....

my mom is pretty religious and i told her what i was planning to do before i even started because i didn't want to be sneaking around (i still lived at home at the time). my dad was cool with it tho and was more than supportive. i came to find out later that my dad used to sell porn mags in the 70's, lol. once my mom saw how much money i started to make she didn't seem to hate it so much anymore but still would rather i make money some other way but supports me nonetheless.

my parents aren't neccesarily thrilled, but as long asi keep making loot, they have no problems. :)
