Competitions - Good or Bad ?
 

Any body ever run competitions for surfers?

I am thinking of a refer a friend. and giving away an Apple Ipod to one lucky entrant

The more people referred the more entries you get in the competition.

Does this sound like a reasonable idea?

Has anybody had a good response with competitions? if so how did they work?
