That fucker caught me by surprise at it took off to 130MPH in about 3 seconds!

Shit that was fast!

After that, about 40+ stories into the air and then straight back down.

A great thrill ride, even though it only lasted seconds!

Superman Ride of Steel....Six Flags Massachusetts.

Considered by many to be one of the top 5 roller coasters in the world.

Wow that almost brings back memories. Last roller coaster I was on was that ones daddy on my senior trip in high school ion 83. Damn im getting old lol

That is fucking crazy, Cedar Point has Top Thrill Dragster that tops over 390 feet high also, nuts!

The Beast is the granddaddy of all wooden coasters. His son is a bitch also! But I agree, the lenght of The Beast is insane and it is an incredible coaster. :thumbsup

Cool, never been there. I lived in Pittsburgh before moving to Florida and Kennywood park has some great coasters, Thunderbolt, Phantoms Revenge, Jack Rabbit and Racer. Three of them are great traditional wooden coasters.

Next time ur there try the Beast stoned and drunk. Talk about a wild ride :helpme

LOL Damn makes me wanna go again. That was in the days when you could buy beer at 19 if I remember right and they sold em in those little silver buckets. We all were only 18 but found a girl with a keg walking the park selling buckets full. We were all wasted. Course it was our last hoorah in high school so we had to do it right lol

Ya, I graduated in 88, miss the 80's. Our school trip was to Kings Island, all good.

i rode son of beast the year it came out and it was a rough ride..would beat ya to death lol hope they have it smoothed out some now as im planning to go back next year..vortex is a good coaster and so is flight of fear. did you do the skycoaster thing? not sure if they even have it but that was a wild ride to.

The Beast at Kings Island just after sunset ... going through the woods in the dark makes it a completely different ride than during the day. :winkwink:

I dont do wooden coasters - I love the others and happily ride the scariest available - but I just wont get on a wooden one. Im not even sure why.
