Hehe I decided to check out some jobs in my related field (no not sucking dick Hungryman!) Marketing...

Whenever I bother looking for a job, most of them just don't excite me! Fuck at my last job 90% of the time I wasn't even thinking about my work, I was thinking about my traffic and click thru ratios. Well to be honest the day job was pretty lame and I didn't have to think too much (inside sales advertising job). I dunno about you guys but when I look at jobs in the net or in the paper they just don't motivate me whatsoever.

I like working for myself, it is the best motivation! You don't work, you don't eat! Simply that is enough motivation alone!

Do you guys ever bother looking for jobs and wonder about going back to a 9-5 schedule? Do you think you could go back to an office environment and deal with all the office chit chat and bullshit? Could you deal with fighting traffic to and from work? Just wondering...

i have an office with 3 full time employees, but work from home a lot too. very little bullshit with such a small company :)

I study @ a business polytechnic. :)

I have been self employed since i was 18 years old.. I could never work for someone.. I used to have a nice tan and a bad driving record.. Now I have a clean record and i'm white as a ghost lol.. You must go outside and get SUN.....And picking and eating is hard when your working on your own.. But yeah i'm happy where I am.. It's hell out there....

I was on the force for 3½ years .... caught lead, and then watched my friend die 5 months later ... that was enough for me ...

I had a brand new daughter I decided I wanted to give away to her husband one day ...

i could never take a paper pushing desk jockey position.

i could certainly work at a big company - but a small company would be preferred because I have more faith in their ability to respond rapidly. But I could never do a job where my brain just coasted thru the day.

I still look at the local paper's classifieds daily even though I know it's a waste of time. About once a week I check out the job search sites just to see if there is an ad for insane poet. Of course, I haven't had any luck...
