Well apparently he sold his half of the company. During the last 2 weeks, he kept screwing me over on getting it done. So he said he'd do 5,000 8.5x11's for FREE.

Well apparently i hit the new owner on aim, who doesn't like curse words (pussy) with a name like AcidSales, what a twat anyways....so i told him i'd settle for 50% off.

So i tell him, i got the art done & i can photoshop the text at the bottom because i'm not paying 180$ (more than i paid for the graphic) to add a couple bars of text to the bottom. (which is what he quoted for the design)

So he says ok 1,000 sheets of regular school size glossy paper printed, $500...and thats with his generous 20% off.

Btw, whats 1,000 sheets of glossy paper with a graphic & some simple black or white text cost, full color sheet? And if there are any businessmen out there who don't make a habit of hiring idiots, please hit me up....i'd like these flyers done in the next 2 weeks. ICQ 471174

I think I can say Rob has done more print orders on GFY then anyone. Most everyone has been satisfied with his work - so kudos to him. :thumbsup He deserved the business - he went after it aggressively and he got it.

More then likely, he didn't follow up with one person in particular because he was negotiating selling his share of the company and getting out of this business completely. Not to mention, that Acid Flyers has their own set of guidelines for placing an order, the same as we have a set of guidelines to place an order. I'm not going to take sides cuz I don't know what was said between you. Perhaps it was a miscommunication.

But attacking Rob now that he's left the biz and discounting all the good work he's done here before is kind of pointless and false. :2 cents:

You can pull our financials for the past four years and get a general idea of what my share was worth. I'm not going to tell you the amount but I will say that it was enough for me to travel the world for a year living first class and still having enough when I get back to invest.

Let's just put it this way: In 2004 Acidflyers did about $4M in business (gross). In 2005 Acidflyers almost doubled that. Using simple math you can pretty much estimate how much my share was worth and it was a hell of a lot more than :2 cents:

The guy who bought it was my partner. He bought me out. I'm taking a REALLY LONG vacation and then coming back to figure out what I want to do. I have had several people from this board contact me offering employment but I'm just going to relax for a while and just chill.
