Starting a new TGP...any advice?

I'm starting a new tgp site. Haven't done anything yet. I'm reading a lot of posts and sites and doing my homework. I want to do this organically without a lot of expenditure and with just enough uniqueness to grab the surfers attention and get bookmarked.

Any advice for a complete newbie?

Okay, thanks. I'm sure everyone who is going to confer with you two on this will give me 1000 reasons why I shouldn't do it. I have a lot of time on my hands and if I can turn a small profit off of a link style tgp that provides a good service for surfers and webmasters then all good.

Just looking for random advice or direction. I'll keep reading the boards. Just wanted to open up some dialog and let people know what I'm up to. Any input (including the above) is appreciated.

TGPs are dieing boss, Im not gonna tell you what to get into but seriously you will waste a lot of time on something that will make you very little in return.

It is pretty hard doing 'something' new that catches bookmaerkers attention.
I think the best way you can start out is get yourself some FHGs, some Free Tradescrips, adding some trades , buying little feeder and start trading.

The rest comes with experience :2 cents:

bookmark this thread.
come back in a year and read it.

if you really want to do something and learn, get into blogs, both porn and mainstream.
that would be a much better investment of your time, effort and money.
