.EU Domain Launch date December 7th

Eurid has announced that 'Sunrise 1' will open on Wednesday December 7th 2005.
They also issued the full details of the 'Sunrise' and Registration Rules for '.eu' Domain name applications.

The following timetable will therefore apply:

* Sunrise 1 (Public Bodies and Trademark Holders)
Wednesday, December 7th 2005

* Sunrise 2 (Company Names and Other Prior Rights)
Tuesday, February 7th 2006

* 'Land Rush' (Unrestricted applications for European residence)
Friday, April 7th 2006

If you have not yet submitted your '.eu' pre-applications, or want to pre-register more Names, do not delay and submit them today. The longer your wait, the later your applications will be submitted - the 'First Come - First Served' rule already applies!

In other important news, the Spanish Registry has announced that '.es' domains opens to all from November 8th - Spanish Domains are now unrestricted, private people and Companies from all over the world can now register, apply for .es domains on EuroDNS from Thursday October 6th 2005 on!

Just an attempt to get some sorth of comparition to the .US domains.

can someone please register some domains for me? i'm unable to do that, because i'm not EU resident... i would pay him for this....
