i would figure they take a snapshot of the player.

yeah but i need like a program that i can set a directory to, and get thumbnail images of all the .wmv's

And how would it know which frame to use, you could end up with thumbs of the floor.

usualy programs for this know to take like a capture in the first 3 seconds of the video or whatever...

nope wouldnt work

i need something exactly like a bulk picture thumbnailer but for .wmv's (windows media video file)
