sorry, but I don't see anything really that special with it...maybe once everything is filled in it will look nice, but right now it isn't anything that great

getting a custom cartoon drawn usually costs quite a bit just by itself, but having a custom cartoon drawn, and the tgp designed is a great for the price he is charging imo :2 cents:

I can recommend his quality and professionalism anyday. Never does anything half ass and always comes through when he says.

I agree completely...but you have to pay more to get good results IMO...and like I said before, even WITH the cartoon, i don't see anything special with it....it is a nice cartoon, but the integration with the design is basic and the flow of the site is mediocre

just my :2 cents: though....and just my opinion...

btw, i'm not whoring myself out to get a better deal on the design.. i just give props where props are due.... because one thing that set him apart from a lot of people i've worked with is that he completely did the design before even talking about payment... shows me that he stands behind his work and has great business ethics

nah i know, i don't take it personally... everyone is entitles to their own opinion and i personally like it a lot... but its good when people don't always see eye to eye on things or things would be boring :thumbsup

Header/logo too big for a productive design (in case you're gonna skim traffic).
But I like the idea of two rows of thumbs and text links.
