deleting an invisible file?
 

I need to delete a htapswd to upload the new one but the problem is the file cannot be viewed. So, i need a program that lets me to write the files name and delete it. It seems like with cuteftp i need to click on the file to delete it. So any suggestions?

In wsftp us the command, "-a" (without the quotes.

there should be program which lets you to write the name of the file you want to delete, but which one?. I tried cute ftp and wsftp. In Ws ftp you can write the folder name to delete but not the file name...

would it matter if i paid you in invisible money to forget you needed to delete invisible files?

open a shell, ftp into the directory,list the directory, and delete the old file.

Why not just upload the new one which will replace it?

It is a pass file. Uploading the new one does not work. I have to delete the old one to reset the passwords.
