Jumping out of an airplane...
 

Ever done it? Ever wanted to?

Well... I've been wanting to/dreading it for years... and I always figured I'd find the time to have some serious therapy before the opportunity really presented itself. But alas, I never got around to it and here I am staring down the barrel of maybe needing to go do this terrifying thing. Yeak!

I'd like to hear what other people, who are obviously more brave then I am, thought of the whole experience. Or if there are even some fellow chicken-shits out there who somehow overcame the terror... that'd be nice to know too.

Of course... aiken says he'll solve the whole problem by just throwing me out of the plane... but I'm not sure that'd really help me any!

I did it. Once. Never again. It scared the shit out of me. Horrible Horrible experience.


But then again I'm afraid of heights and we were at 12,500 feet when we jumped.

yep... I'm afraid of heights too... though I'm mostly afraid of not falling to my death... splat!

I'll do it, maybe next year if thing's can be as good as they are now. Those actvities are so expensive.

I would only consider doing it with someone, and strapped to someone who knows what they're doing. That's the only way most places will take you unless you've taken a course for doing a solo jump (which is what my brave, albeit crazy, boyfriend is planning on doing) Fuckin hell...

I hate rides at disneyland, I would never bungee jump, but for some damn reason I been really wanting to jump from a plane, maybe its cause when I done motocross, that few seconds your in the air, its like the whole world stops, you dont hear nothing and nothing else matters. Id love to have the courage to jump from a plane, if someone ever set up the opertunity for me to do so, I definatly would no matter how scared I was... I am not afraid of heights. thou that gut feeling when falling from a big rollarcoaster bugs me, so I would need to get over that first im sure.

There is NO reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane...

Now, IF the engines crap out, the wings snap off, and I happen to be wearing a parachute, then I'll try it. :thumbsup
