It amazes me when people ask for an opinion and when you point out some things you don't like they get offended. This is business. When I want an opinion on a page I want them to tell me if it sucks instead of wasting money on something that won't sell.

I'm going to make up a standard reply right now...

"Wow man that looks great! Did you do that yourself or did you go through a design firm?

[whatever their response is]

No way! It looks like it was professionally done.

[whatever their response is]

Right on, well it came out killer. The colors and the layout are really well done."


then a month later when it fails I'll say...

"No way! I don't believe. It looked great I thought it would be a huge success."

I copied this into notepad and whenever someone asks me their opinion I'll paste it into the chat.

I agree with Clay.

I like having ICQ switched on in case something baaaad happens. Maybe someone noticed that my sites have gone down. Maybe a sponsor just closed their program. Or maybe someone just made a thread accusing me of child porn.

So next time some newbie webmaster messages me with something fucking annoying like "what do you think of this sponsor?", "how can I get traffic to my avs sites?", or "i'm just a sexy girl", I'm going to tell them to shut the fuck up and proceed to have an arugment with them. :BangBang:

Get typeitin it's faster than notepad.

Funny stuff - I have the same problem when people email some of their photography and ask me to comment on it. What's a guy to do???
