I just icq tech support :)

Ask your hosting company and they should be happy to. If you aren't familiar with how servers work, you may not want to fiddle with too much if the sites on your server are important.

I was coding some crap one night after being awake for a day and a half and I set up a cron job right before I went to bed. I meant to set it to run once every 24 hours and I had it email me. I set the fucker up for once every minute, went to bed, and was gone all day the next day. My inbox was lovely. :1orglaugh

use putty to login to a shell (using ssh)
http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/.../x86/putty.exe fill in the hostname and go then use your login name and password then on the shell crontab -e (you'll go into vi .. so editting is started with pressing i and exit/save is "escape wq!" sequence) http://www.adminschoice.com/docs/crontab.htm shows how to setup a crontab hope you allready solved it .. since its over 4 months old :) otherwise .. hire some monkeys! |
yup like said its easy just get a crontab calculator thats the easiest way I always forget the /5 etc
