What difference would it make? We kid ourselves that who occupies the White House actually matters, but regardless of which party the President nominally represents, the cost of getting elected is such that the incumbent has been bought and sold long before he (or she) ever takes office.

There was a poster of Richard Nixon asking the question "Would you buy a used car from this man?"... but all that sets him apart from most politicians is that he got caught.
