Is LOST getting lame?
 

Is it just me or is there not a lot of story in the new season? Seems like a bunch of filler and recaps...

They've been stretching a one hour story arc into 3 hrs so far this season.. kind of lame I agree.

Never was interested in the first season, but I'm watching it now.

And yeah, the lack of answers and the cliffhangers for new mysteries is getting kind of frustrating. I look at the clock almost more than the screen when I'm watching an episode... I check to see if there is enough time for an explaination.

Never watched any of it ... I don't really watch tv.

I'm a Lostaholic and I am liking the new season so far. The layering they are doing on episodes was interesting. They told part of the story in the first episode and then they are going over it again and filling in pieces. Definately an interesting way of telling the story. From what I read they resorted to this technique because they were behind on filming and they are supposed to go back to a more linear story pretty quick.
Some major revelations so far this season. Lots of new info being shown even if it isn't being directly noticed by the characters. Looking forward to the next few episodes.

when I first started watching Lost, it was not on TV, but on the DVD edition...

I was watching 3 episodes the day, and was REALLY connecting with the characters... I simply couldn't get enough of it.

now, I have no choice but to wait 1 week between every episode, and during the episodes, be disconnected because of commercials.

I feel that I have completely lost touch with the characters (Jack actually seemed like a BAD guy in today's episode)..

I am seriously considering stopping watching it until the DVD set comes out...

I'm totally getting into this show even though I've only seen 1 episode of the 1st season. I have, though, seen all shows this season, except I only watched the last 20minutes of tonights.

I'm addicted to this shit. I feel like im addicted to crack. I need more. Someone tell me what happened in tonights episode. All I caught was there was something about a film that jack saw or some shit. I also noticed some of the crew was caught perhaps by the "others" or some shit. I need to find outttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.

The numbers they have to type into the computer add up to 108 not sure what that means but it's interesting. I love to hate this show but can't not watch or wonder what's going to happen next.

Also what's the deal with Jin speaking english in the preview for next week?

It is one of the best written and best acted shows to be on TV in some time.
It's not another lame car chasing/bomb exploding show.

It has twists and turns..and most of all..it leaves you WANTING MORE! That is the sure sign of a succesful show.

I don't see how the characters will last in that islanf for, say, 4 seasons.

yea, the actors might not be the greatest...but the storyline is more interesting, and it's suspenseful...

never watch those type of tv shows like lost, 24, sopranos... its just not appealing to me... i think its more made for americans since those shows are hardly popular here in holland.....

I don't think so, you can't predict how many season you will get from ABC. Sure, you might have a scenario and scripts for 20 seasons, that doesn't mean it's going to be produced.

Lost is great. The recap bullshit this season has pissed me off though. Way too much filler, not enough forward progression.

If you're too retarded to remember what happened last week stop watching TV, sew your mittens onto your jacket and get on the fucking short bus.

Awesome show. I bought the first season on DVD to have something to watch at work (gotta love the USAF). Now I'm totally hooked. The second season does have a lot of filler but it is laying the foundation for the rest of the season. I'm still wondering why three episodes in they haven't mentioned anything about that thing in the jungle. Desmond has to know what it is.

I don't think it's lame at all. Even better than last season.

One of those shows once you watch it you CAN'T stop watching. It leaves you wanting more.

It's Locke's destiny to keep pushing that button for the rest of his life now.

I think I would figure out how to write a little script to reset that button every 107 minutes, even though the orientation movie said don't mess with the computer for other reasons.
