who dont like NATS!!

in another thread, it was mentioned that some webmasters wont use anything tracked with nats. i'm not aware of any issues & would like to find out.

is there something wrong with nats? is it true or just a theory? looks like alot of sponsors swear by it & make a big deal about it like it's great?

what are the better more reliable tracking systems.

Whoever coded adtools_adv.php needs to be shot....

slapass 10-06-2005 06:10 AM

I am not a fan of making 6 clicks to make a link but otherwise it is ok.

lol

what do you think's wrong with it? I agree some of the templates aren't very well programmed/laid out but overall I think NATS is boom selection.

Nylz 10-06-2005 06:17 AM

I love it

from an affiliate and a sponsor point of view

TMM_John 10-06-2005 06:18 AM

This poll is going to be about as effective as the "how much money do you make" polls. You've got a bunch of angry keyboard warrior 12 year olds with 3 hits per year voting (along with good people too of course).

I'd like to see those who don't like NATS post why. It will only help us improve things. However I expect the typical baseless hate and attention mongering as usual.

How would you change it to improve it? Other than shooting people of course.

That was obviously a joke -- John.

Give me some time to get some notes together and I'll post them here or hit you up via ICQ with them. It will probably be later on tonight or tomorrow morning before I get to it, but if you're really interested I'll make sure to get back to you.

Joesho 10-06-2005 06:48 AM

Nats has been very helpful to us. even went above the call of duty when asked.

Like John said if an affiliate has a problem let them know what it is, they clearly are trying to work with everyone to help them make more money.

LOL, of course I didn't really think you wanted to shoot anyone :)

I'd love to hear your input (and other people's). We are currently working on revamping the affiliate side of NATS (we did a major rework of the admin in v2) and we need everyone's input to do so. So yes, please send me any info you can. Feel free to either post it here or call me or get me on icq/aim/email.

Llike i said before how can one acutally convert worse on nats, sponsors must have changed the tour a bit, proably the join page maybe thats why joins are down.

fris 10-06-2005 07:30 AM

love it, amd brad shaw just messaged me says he likes it too, but he wont admit it, so i am posting on behalf of him.

Major (Tom) 10-06-2005 07:33 AM

nats so rocks!!

duke

iac 10-06-2005 07:39 AM

We've used their knowledgebase to design and integrate affiliates for clients...
and from a designers point of view, the knowledgebase was very useful and we found it easy to integrate the templates with our design
So from a designer's perspective, NATS is great!

Wizzo 10-06-2005 07:40 AM

To be honest, was never really a fan of NATS until we used it for MayorsMoney and have to say its quite awesome piece of software!

Like anything takes a little time to adapt and figure out ALL the features, but I'm certain its strengths far outweigh any weaknesses and support has been awesome in addressing any issues we have had...:pimp

ShaneRyale 10-06-2005 07:52 AM

I LOVE NATS! The flexibility and additional features that are able to be offered to your affiliates is great. If you want to do it, then it's probably already in there. If it's not, you can be pretty sure it will be there in the next update.

Raven 10-06-2005 08:04 AM

As with every huge program, it takes a little getting used to....especially for me, who is program handicapped......the support team there answers every ticket in a timely manner....that's extremely important to me, even when I'm asking Duh! questions.....

I'm sure I'm not the only one who asks duh questions, but patience is their virtue.

Are there things that could be changed? Of course there are. I have never seen a program that has everything.....nats comes close.....and they are constantly working on improving and refining. And, no they didn't pay me to say this.

We keep finding neat things to play with ..it's a pretty powerful program.

Dalai lama 10-06-2005 08:11 AM

I'm using NATS as my backend and it simply rocks.

Paul&John 10-06-2005 08:26 AM

it fucking rox!

solonline 10-06-2005 08:27 AM

we moved over to Nats a few months ago, and I never looked back.
Brill program :thumbsup

Derek_M 10-06-2005 09:29 AM

NATS works great for us at MrSkinCash and our affiliates seem to like it as well. The updates that they have done in the last year have all been great improvements and they seem to pay attention to requests. Anytime I have ever had an issue, they have addressed it, and usually pointed out that it was something stupid I did. I hate when they are right.

Halcyon 10-06-2005 10:15 AM

I've just started working with the people at NATS and couldn't be more impressed. And have had no problems at all working with programs who use it.

Gotta agree though, I like NATS alot. Very good program and good support.

RaDiCaL_Kevin 10-06-2005 11:16 AM

Since our program started using nats it has allowed our affiliates and given us the chance to add more tools than before at a faster rate.. Anytime we need some help or any question the whole team at at Nats is there to help us.

Nats is all good in our books!

TMM_John 10-06-2005 11:19 AM

Hrmm... still no posts of WHY from the people voting no. Always interesting.

PersianKitty 10-06-2005 11:40 AM

Go NATS or go home

deniska 10-06-2005 11:55 AM

NATS great product.. great people.. whats not to like huh?

Babagirls 10-06-2005 11:58 AM

for some reason, nats doesnt rebill as good as ccbill and seems harder to get sales to. i dont know, maybe its just me. but every nats sponsor i've sent traffic to is like pulling teeth to catch a sale but if i threw that shit to ccbill, i'd get mad signups. weird.

montythestrange 10-06-2005 12:02 PM

NATS is OK for people who can't program their own affiliate system. All of the code is encoded, so easy changes become really hard workarounds. Of course, a custom application will always suit your needs a lot better, but, for a semi-turnkey product, it does the job.
