Would you pay more then msrp/retail for an xbox 360?

If you couldn't get one in preorder or just couldn't buy one because it was sold out?

Kinda like the tickle me elmo?

I have a contact to get about 10 or so xbox 360's. It wouldn't be worth my investment if I sold them at cost + shipping.

Give it a try, it's going to be a big hit for sure.

I remember when PS2 came out they were selling on eBay for up to $600. Depending on overall stock, there may be some demand with game enthusiasts. I really want one, but won't be paying more than sticker price.

I find it hard to believe there isn't going to be plenty of them on shelves when it finally does get released. I never understood this preorder nonsense, unless they are giving you a discount or some sort of value add to give them the money up front.

Preorder just means that you will get your system. within x days of release.

I wouldn't preorder/waste my time on anything that wasn't going to be a hot item or big seller. some preorders I would do.. Harry potter books/big game systems.

It's an investment more or less.

I wouldn't pay more for it...

Microsoft isn't going to drop the ball on this one.....There will be plenty of XBOX 360's to meet launch demand. Don't believe what those dorks at Game Stop tell you.

They have 7 months to get a jump on PS3...they are going to make every single day count.

Yeah, I kinda agree with you on that one Game stop is hyping the fact that there won't be another 360's

Look at it this way.. news says there will be a gas shortage and people JUMP on the chance to top off there cars.. Guess what. Now there is no gas lol

I heard someone that had preordered an Xbox360 at gamestop (or possibly Ebgames, can't remember which) had received a sales call from an employee saying that they should also preorder some games since it was possible there wasn't going to be enough copies around to fill demand. What a crock!

I'm kind of an early adopter myself when it comes to crap like this, but I've never had a problem finding any of the big video game systems at launch. Must be different in certain parts of the country I guess.

I still haven't dropped any money for a pre-order. I'll just pick one up on the 20th. Pappelbon!!!! C'mon Sox!!!
