Video iPods?
http://money.cnn.com/2005/10/05/tech...ex.htm?cnn=yes
Would you buy one? While it sounds really cool, I'm not sure. It's not like I can watch vids and mow the yard at the same time. |
Not necessary. My current iPod photo does a lot of shit i don't need.
I have 30g of HDD space that's enough for a good portion of my music, I could care less about photos and that tiny screen is worthless anyway. |
I'm not sure, could turn out great though
|
it would be cool if it was as thin as the nano and basically all screen say 5"x3" and a 1/4 thick. Super light, super portable. I'd buy one and it would be stiff competition for those bulky portable DVD players. Key is you need a large enough screen.
|
Then of course you may be able to get a kit that lets it play movies from your ipod video on the DVD system in your car. That would make it even more marketable.

Eh. I'd rather have a PSP, and be able to play games on it. :thumbsup :2 cents:

I think they have enough of an iPod following that no matter what they will sell enough to make money. Whether it is a huge hit or not it's hard to say. It may just be the first super mini digital player in a series of products to come that will evolve like the iPod has. Its a pity iVid.com and vidcast.com are already taken.

Piss me off, I just got the 60GB Photo IPOD.

I really want to see one of these, if they end up even existing. I'm with you all, if the screen was bigger, and had nice resolution, it might be a good gadget. Especially with transfer capabilities.
Apple's got such a branded following with anything iPod, that I'm sure it would be a profitable venture for them. As profitable as the music only versions, I'm not sure. |
