Question about the new FL gun law..
 

If I go up to some law abiding citizen in a dark alley (no witnesses), I threaten to shoot him, he pulls his gun, but I am faster.. I could say I killed him out of defense, right?

Yes you could. But when you shoot someone, you are still going before a jury to hear the facts of the case. I bet you aren't really gonna try that are you?

I don't know about the new gun law. the last time I checked it would have to be established that you did not provoke the other person to attack you for it to count as self defense.
