Quebec webmasters, HELP!
 

how can I apply for an American $ credit card. I tried for a TD Visa in american $, but residents of Quebec are not eligible. I have no adress in Ontario or elsewhere I can use.

Why don't you ask your bank to give one? Royal Bank offer a credit card with US fund, and I'm sure most other banks do likewise.

isn't visa the same in american or canada? i don't get it.

Royal Bank and TD are the only 2 canadian banks offering it. TD I'm guessing is not offering it in Quebec since they don't want to translate all their documents in French (its the only logical reason I can think of). Try Royal Bank. Its under their USD Visa Gold so that means you need to apply for at least $5k of credit. If your credit isn't in great shape, you can surrender $5000 in the form of a USD GIC to secure it.

I'm in Quebec and I have a USD Visa with CIBC, you can apply for one online and you don't need an account with them
