Dumb question! Does you wife spend more money then you do?
 

everytime i turn around shes costing the FAMILY money.

i payed her credit cards off and she charged one up again.
we bought a new house about 2 years ago and her excuse
was.."I wanted to fix it up and make the place look nice."

i was teaching her to drive and she wrecked the front end of my first benz.
i payed the $500 deductible to have it repaired.

so i bought her a used car for $7000 cash so she wouldn't drive any of my cars. she was to pay for the insurance herself. She totals that car in a wreck and i ask her to call her insurance company. i find out she only had liabilty when i told her to get full coverage.

the people she had a wreck with had $4000 in doctors bills. (her fault)
i payded that off to avoid a lawsuit. lucky for us the guy was driving with a suspended lincense. so our lawyer scared him off with that small detail.

recently my wife has been anxious to pay the bills for us.
(she writes the checks out) I asked her..."why are you always in a hurry to pay the bills now? i find out shes writing checks to pay her personal bills like cell phone, utilities etc. her share of bills. (she works part-time)

we had to have a little sit down and talk about this. i love my wife and kids and will do anything for them. just don't be doing sneaky shit behind my back.

she agreed. we had been house shopping once again recently so i added..."we will not be buying a new house until she pays off her credit card and the new car she now has to pay for herself."

the reason i do so much for her is because she backed me up when i first got into the business and had no job for about a year. all i had was a dream and the internet.

i have cancer and am in remission. shes gonna get all the money anyway.
i just want her to be responsible so she can take care of the family.

Do you keep seperate accounts or something?

And just a heads up but your buying a benz blew way more cash then she could blow on other stuff.

Not counting the standard bills (utilities, etc).
She does spend more than me on average, but nothing sneaky and I do not shop often.

nothing like that but yeah, the girlfriend has a tendency to buy 5 things she doesn't need and didn't plan on buying when going out to buy one thing she did plan on/need to buy.
