I'm having a big fight with my boyfriend right now, he wants to pay for my flight to come see him. I don't want him to. It just feels strange if he pays for it. Anyone else feel like this?

I have to say that I would let him pay and never think twice about it. ;)

Why not? THink of it as a gift. Anything my boyfriend wants to pay for, I accept and never have any regrets.

Well I think it's a bit old fashion to think a man should pay for everything, I like to pay for my own way, but there's nothing wrong with him paying for your flight...Take him out for a nice dinner bring him a little gift! :winkwink: It all evens out....

when me and the boyfriend were seperated (i left him) and moved outta state, we still were workin things out and he paid for my plane ticket everytime. (we're back together since then). other than that, i pay for my own shit.

If it's a gift free and clear, then accept it gracefully. If there are strings attached, make sure you find out what they are and tell him to quit playing games and just say what he wants. ;)

I think its already, but if you're not comfortable with it then you can even it out by bringing a gift or by paying for meals and other expenses while you're there.

Sometimes I felt that way too, as if he was controlling for everything...If I had a money I'll tell him that I can pay but when I dont have I'll tell him to do the expense... that's it! its a matter of understanding... but one thing for sure, that guys give and get! hehehehe
