I was in bulgaria last year, its fine. Just don't act like a stupid american tourist and youll be good.

I was in Sophia and Plovdiv, both have excellent grecian ruin sites. If in Sophia the history museum in the old dictators palace is great as well. They have alot of artifacts from some of the earliest whiteys there.

Plovdiv also has come great ruin sites, and check out the ampitheater there. You can actually stand in it, as if you back in time.

I know some guys , they had a VW Passat. They were going to Bulgary with the car just to be stolen.
Why? They got a WAY better price from the insurance comapny than if they would sell it.

I just pointed that in bulgaria the chances to have an empty parking in the morning are way higher than other countries.

enjoy your stay... my bulgarian family are the only ones I've not managed to visit so far... but if push really comes to shove, I'm sure you can purchase a shortened AK-47 out there for less than $100 ;) not that youd ever need it! safe travels!

Bulgaria is cool. My aunt lives there. It´s no jungle (unles you are stopped by cop, speeding, driving a car with foreigh car plates :winkwink: )

BoNgHiTtA is right, just don't act as some stupid tourist and you'll be fine, there's lotsa things you'll like, the girls are fantastic, you can get laid with as many chicks as you want... but you've should come in the summer, we have great beach resorts
