i'd say 50/50

Getting rebills is down to new product the member wants and will stay around for.

One set a day is minimum in my opinion.

the product/website itself, in the end this is what has to make the sale.
Using the same marketing with galleries and free sites and a pinch of blog traffic, my worst sponsor has a ratio of 1:3100, my best sponsor a ratio of 1:71. (both last week stats)

Good question. For getting sales definitely the marketing.

The customer has to actually see the product to rebill, and for that he needs to get inside the site. :)
