who has verizon wireless?

i was looking at the manual and it defines their free minutes as:

Night: 9:01PM-5:59AM, Monday-Friday

Weekend: 12:00PM Saturday-11:59PM Sunday

ok, so at 11:59PM on sunday they start charging you again all the way until 9:01PM on Monday? i figured it would be free all the way til 5:59AM Monday, since it is nighttime...but i guess not cuz it says "Nights" are only Monday-Friday. does anyone know what the deal is on Sunday after 12?

KMR Stitch 10-03-2005 12:39 AM

I have verizon.

But, If I had a question and wanted the correct answer I would call the 1800 # that came with the manual =)

Verizon Wireless is gay. They advertise all the fucking time here in Oklahoma, but you can't buy their service if you live here. You can roam through Oklahoma if you have Verizon, you just can't live here, or so they say. *shrug*

BlingDaddy 10-03-2005 12:41 AM

I have Verizon and all my HOES DO TOO so it's all fucking free. I don't pay the bills. Just kidding... Are they any less complicated than anyone else? :helpme

Then yes they charge you. You need to sell 100 more pixles in order to pay for the bill.

Did you know if you don't ASK for the Verizon 2 Verizon in calling network you will be charged if you talk to someone thats in the in network =)

There I gave you another tip

If you think so =) I thought I got "in" mins also until I saw the bill called the 1800 and then they upgraded the plan for in mins for free but I still had to pay.

You must have changed the marketing methods they used then.

And I always thought 12:00:01 Monday morning means Monday uses mins until 9:00:01 Monday night

KMR Stitch 10-03-2005 12:54 AM

Think of this if you called at 8:59PM monday night and you hung up at 9:00:01 Did they charge you? :-x

3M TA3 10-03-2005 12:56 AM

if you have free nights and weekends on Verizon it's all free. they make the distinction for accounting purposes only. awhile back you could buy free weekend for an extra $10 and because people are still on that plan they have to set it up that way.

There used to be something in the fine print that stated that your free nights and weekends were limited to xxx minutes. which was like 1 minute over the actual # of minutes in the month. reason they did that was because if you have someone on call waiting while you are talking to someone it's burning up your minutes. fun eh?

StickyGreen 10-03-2005 12:57 AM

how would i change the marketing methods they use?

lol

yeah they do, if you initiate the call before 9pm, it would count against your main minutes, even if you talked for an hour.

Sprint used to have 7pm off-peak which was nice.

so what do you mean "if you have free nights and weekends it's all free?" that still doesnt answer my question...is sunday night free all the way to 6am monday morning? cuz the manual implies that it's not...

first off does the manual say

Weekend: 12:00PM Saturday-11:59PM Sunday

or

Weekend: 12:00AM Saturday-11:59PM Sunday

secondly

Night: 9:01PM-5:59AM, Monday-Friday

monday morning is included in that statement, unless you real it monday @ 9:01PM till Friday @ 5:59AM

StickyGreen 10-03-2005 01:05 AM

the manual states exactly what i originally posted...

3M TA3 10-03-2005 01:12 AM

hhmmm, interesting, 12PM on saturday is noon...isn't it?

3M TA3 10-03-2005 01:13 AM

http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/s...vidual%20Plans

states that it is 12am

must be a mis-print

StickyGreen 10-03-2005 01:16 AM

that's weird...it says 12pm (noon) saturday in my manual...and i think i remember reading it the same in my girlfriend's manual that came with her phone...

StickyGreen 10-03-2005 01:18 AM

so if weekends start at 12am saturday, that would mean it's free to talk from 9pm friday til 11:59pm sunday?

3M TA3 10-03-2005 01:19 AM

it is weird, the website promotes midnight and the manual says noon

btw, verizon never answers the phone, you always have to press a dozzen buttons to talk to anyone. that one of the reasons t-mobile robed the JD Power awards away from them

3M TA3 10-03-2005 01:20 AM

it's free to talk from 9pm friday to 6 am monday
