When did Las Vegas rooms become this expensive?
Looking for rooms for Halloween weekend.
$599 a night for The Hotel at Mandalay? WTF? Thats a 1000+ room hotel. Does that come with a blowjob? $399 for the Hard Rock :1orglaugh Even Ceasers is like $340 a night. I'm not a cheap ass but I'm not into getting raped. I miss the days of the Hard Rock being like $200 a night on the weekends. |
Simple rule of supply and demand... vegas is hotter than ever
It's crazy as hell here in Vegas that weekend...those "particular" weekends, they rates always zoom...

Wow. I'd rent you a room at my place if I was closer to the strip

Guess I'm going to take one in the pooper if I want to stay someplace cool. |
stay at the tropicana or something... no one is ever in their hotels except to sleep anyway (that is if you sleep when you're in vegas)
October 31st is also "Nevada Day", so school's out and all the city and state workers are off. Halloween is a pretty happening time, with all the clubs doing costume parties and stuff.
the strat always has great deals on holidays, but then the north strip is usually cheaper.
get some meth and dont sleep the weekend..
Holidays and weekends are always high priced nights.
try going to wynne resort 550$ for a round of golf ;)
I stayed at the Stratosphere last time I went to Vegas, nice rooms, nice hotel... and I just got a taxi or walked down to the other end of the strip when I wanted to.
i just got back from the Wynn...$239 a night this weekend booked via their website. most weekends are way higher though.
Those are the two most expensive I think with a couple others in that range maybe.
Too bad too I used to only use Mandalay NOW THEIR HEAD IS TOO BIG. |
I paid $1100 per night for the bellagio presidential suite. I thought that was pretty cheap actually.

Bellagio was getting 1K/night for a regular room on New Year's eve.
Holidays are a bitch when you're going to a tourist hot spot. Wouldn't surprise me if the air fares were jacked up for that time frame as well. |
Well, since New Orleans is now out for this year's Halloween, Vegas probably is the next destination, and they might be expecting bigger than average crowds due to this, and are raising the prices more than usual.
