My guess is that LAX is closest.

poppet 10-02-2005 07:04 PM

LAX, hon.

Alex 10-02-2005 07:07 PM

Burbank would be just as close, and you are flying into a smaller aiprot so less hussle.

LAX isn't a big airport itself, much too small for the area, imho.

J$tyle$ 10-02-2005 07:08 PM

***Depends if you can get a direct flight from NYC though :2 cents:

Edited

Only if you fly into Burbank - otherwise ... you'll be picked up by Trannys and Hare Krishnas

Where do you live.

I visit LAX 7-8 times a year.

It is bigger than most of the other large airports i have been to not only in the amount of space, but in the amount of people. Its less hassle to fly into burbank and then take a 4.5 mile taxi ride to the hotel.

I'm going off my experience when flying in and out of there to visit the ex im laws in Manhattan Beach.

Only Downside:

You wont fird a direct flight to burbank from JFK 99% of the time.

But the price is the same if not less with a onestop flight and its easier to go through burnank as opposed to LAX

Manhattan Beach is closer to LAX.

But if you want to get in and out of there as soon as you can, fly though burbank, its a few miles from the Hotel and less crowd.

WiredGuy 10-02-2005 07:25 PM

LAX, its not that long a ride, maybe 15-20 min without traffic.

Bugbee 10-02-2005 07:29 PM

Sfo Lol!!

Zebra 10-02-2005 07:30 PM

Just looked up the distance from the hotel to the 2 airports.
From LAX 24.1 miles
From Burbank 4.7 miles
Same price for me to either airport so I'm choosing Burbank.

Dwreck 10-02-2005 07:32 PM

yah, I will choose burbank as well. Thanks for the tips!

jonesy 10-02-2005 07:43 PM
