I heard they used real zombies. Actually, I heard that really happened once and that the government covered it up.

Dawn of the Dead is my favorite movie of all time but I think it's okay to do a site at NOTLD worshiping

Agreed. Dawn of the Dead is one of the best movies ever made.

if anyone has access to the ORIGINAL "Return of the Living Dead", I will gladly pay you top dollar for it.

I like Hatebreed, Madball, Agnostic Front, Eearth Crisis, Son of Skam, NJ Bloodline, Diecast... ALL THE GOOD SHIT!

And of course all the "Dead" movies. Best shit ever made.

There is a rumour that the Dawn of the Dead episode (the mall one) is about to be remade by another director.

While I really love the Romero movies, I do have a huge soft spot for all the Italian horror zombie maestros...Umberto Lenzi and Lucio Fulci did some amazing zombie stuff...."Gates Of Hell" (aka "City By The Cemetary" is my personal favorite zombie flick...suicidal priests, a woman puking up her guts, a drill press to the head, skull cap twisting and tons of good old fashioned zombie splatter....hmmm, I may have to check and see if this baby is available on DVD yet :)

I just forked over some bucks for the Dawn/Day DVD's on eBay -can't find those motherfuckers anywhere.
