i fuckin hate goin to a bar by myself (especially being a female). i have to dress up in a hoodie, jeans, and sneakers just so that i dont get the cluster of "hey, how ya doin?" guys :disgust

oddest fuckin feelin is walking into a unknown bar (especially when its busier than it seems), and you open the door & have like 50 people stop & stare at ya for a few seconds lol :Oh crap

see, guys can definatly get away with that (actually, its alot easier for us chicks to pick up on guys if they dont have a crowd of loud morons around them lol) so i agree with that, but i just feel like if i go to a hot spot on a fri/sat night (as a female), i feel like a retard. im not single so no need to try to get ass and im not dancing to a song by myself, so that leaves the option of me sitting at the bar and dodging off losers all night. not fun & i look stupid lol

But, reminds me of a friend...she wouldn't miss one weekend at the bar we hung out at, we all tripped on shrooms (in my party days) she left to go to the bar, lol.
We told her, you will not get 1 block down the road...she made it anyways and all of our regular bar friends asked...wtf was wrong with Tammy, LOL!

Yes, I had plans to go to a sports bar for a concert with 2 friends and they both had to cancel, so I was gonna stay home, but I said fuck it and wen't, no one to talk to so I just drank like a fish until the show started, ended up with a hot blondie coming up to me and making a move before the show and ended up in the middle of about 5 hotties during the concert buying me drinks. So from that day forward if I got plans and someone cancels fuck em I'm going, had more fun that night then being with the boys. Must have made me more approachable alone then with the loud friends.

I travel a lot. Have to be able to go in and meet folks. No fun hanging in a hotel room.

Today, I had to drop the Vue in for service. I went into a nearby Caseys (Bar and grill) for a cold one while the work was being done.

Had a nice time with the young female bartender. Talked about music. Talked about movies and photography.

She studied cinema arts in school. I suggested she check out 12 Angry Men, and Sidney Lumet's Making Movies. Also Citizen Kane.

As we settled, and I prepared to depart, she thanked me. Wow.

Life is good.

I've done it before, but only at one club I used to frequent. I knew I'd find someone there that I knew & if not, I just hung with the door man, bouncers or security guys til friends showed up since I knew all of them, too.

I wouldn't do it otherwise, though. Too many stupid men out there that hassle me. Last time I went out, I accidentally bumped into some guy while at the bar getting a drink. Apparently that was some sort of invitation to his warped mind. By the end of the night he was all up my ass with his arms around me as if I were his girlfriend. Fucken freak wouldn't take the hint even when I kept pushing him away and telling him to get lost. Luckily some guy standing nearby saw what was going on and made him hit the road real quick.

if your single and it's a local ... you know everyone there ..i guess it's not that bad .... if your shooting pool or darts .... if it's just some place that you really don't know anyone and your just going to have some drinks ... kinda sad that you need to drink alone and during the week ... keep in mind that I'm married 9 years and have 2 kids .. so it seems weird to go out to a bar in the afternoon during the week ... I'm only 30 but settled down early ..

Going to bars by myself is the fucking bomb!

Heres why:
When I go with guy friends I never get laid because they are usually fucking stupid and inadvertingly cock block all night long by refusing to STFU when a female approaches me, talk about stupid shit that redirects the conversation, mentions some chick I fucked last week, pisses the female's friend off so she grabs the one I'm looking at and they both leave, gets jealous and starts saying "this chick's ugly, I know you aint gonna fuck that"; and then they run out of money and I start paying for their drinks.

When I go with a female friend other chicks think she's my date and I don't get laid.

When I go alone:
Females approach me easier.
Horny chicks figure they got a better shot since I'm alone.
I leave whenever I'm ready and not on someone else's clock


And about being afraid of the people in the bar....
HA! Every time I go into a red neck bar where the folks are supossed to lynch me, I say hello and start talking and every fucking one of them buys me a drink. :1orglaugh I can't get out of the fucking place because they keep sending over more drinks. A few times one of these "red necks" took me back to his crib and we both fucked his wife.


About being female:
When guys start hounding you just gravitate over to some guy who is just minding his own business and not being aggressive and start talking to him.
You'll have a better conversation, make a new friend and the hounds will back off. I meet a lot of females by playing the non-hound role and my friends think I got some kind of magic to pick up chicks...nope, no magic, I'm just the only guy not acting like a sex starved maniac and with the fools in the bar these days that's usually enough to get a lady's attention.

I never go to bars unless it's some kind of special occasion deal. Usually, within 30 minutes of getting there I'm wishing I never went, lol.
