This is #1 of my reports reguarding these very threatening malware installs by affiliates... when will the sponsors step in and take action? I got rid of everything except these damned popups and browser hijacks (I miss having control over my homepage)

I believe I contracted this shit from a different sponsors FHG's, but have since not been to prove it, so I have not outed them yet... It may have been from a TGP I was checking out for a trade, not really sure. PussyCash has nothing to do with the installation (that I am aware of, who knows) but they are accpting traffic from this piece of shit, bet it converts real well for them too... fuckin' shit.

This thing literally destroyed my computer for over a week, and I still have small traces, and will until I do a format. I have client projects pending and too many programs, plugins, fonts and favorites to reinstall after the format, so I will have to wait.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but what the fuck does this have to do with Pussycash?

Huh? Nothing is written in this thread so far but accusations, no proof a all. If you want pussycash to shut down an affiliate try posting some proof the affiliate is intentionally spreading malware. You also should try be a little clearer in your initial post, it appears you are accusing pussycash of the offense.

As I have said before we don't except this kind of traffic, and you can do nothing to our reputation. You will find no other sponsor with a better reputation then PussyCash.

Now I can't realy stop a webmaster from sending me this kind of traffic if no one complaint about it.

The only other thing I can see, is me getting one of those programs to record my screen activity as I right click > save shortcut as... > and paste it into the browser. A lot of work for someone who clearly doesn't want to take the time to consider this activity as being criminal.

Do what you will PC, I don't care anymore. The guys linkcode is out there, and those that wanna be careful now know this info. It is not hard to see whos sites contain the codes, as I am sure the guy has probably been around awhile.

there is no address bar... just like I said.. right click save shortcut as... in which case I could already have the info in my clipboard. A video watching the whole process seems to be the only way...

ALSO! I could do the same thing by pasting the link in the address bar (if there was one) and then taking the screenshot, so no... you are wrong.

Just keep an eye on the guy. Check for other accounts. See if the person has had old accounts that have been shut down. Whatever, I dunno.

The only thing I can say that might make you a littel bit happier is, that even if you will not post here or send me anything that show this affiliate is working the way that you say.
I'm going to contact him any way and ask him to explain how is he working, if he is working with popups and spywares as you say he is, we will close his account for sure.

To help you understand where I am coming from, take a look at the AFF thread that is the same as this one. Funny how my attitude is different in there. AFF didn't come in there throwing their weight around. Perhaps call them and compare info. It is probably the same guy, or if he uses aliases it will help track down multiple accounts.

I'm not going to close the affiliate now due to this post, but I am going to checkout his traffic and where is it coming from, if I'll see that he is working the way that Murderous say he is, I'll make sure to close his account then.

I know you aint gonna close his account. But the point of you even looking into his traffic source because some one posted something with no proof is troubleing

If an affiliate is sending traffic according to the sponsor TOS then he has no problem if you will check out his traffic, I'm checking webmasters traffic every day even if no one has complained about them, just because I have a feeling that something is wrong.

This is the same case, if the affiliate is working according to our TOS then any checkout that I'll run will do him no harm in the end of the day. :2 cents:

I tell you what if that was me being a afillate and i was being looked at because someone post something with no proof i would be a little pissed. As you can see from the beginning, I was never attempting to point any fingers at you or criticize your business. I come to the boards in your case simply because I do not believe I am one of your affiliates. I hope some truth really does come from all of this.

Problem with threads like this is that it gives the webmaster spreading the spyware/malware etc.. a heads up. Now he/she knows and has the time to quickly get rid of the evidence. This is why it's best to handle this in private.

There used to be a time when programs would terminate YOU for pulling this "go public" shit without so much as trying to solve the issue by first contacting the sponsor via email or ICQ (or phone for that matter).

If you paid any attention, you would see that I brought this here, because I am not an affiliate of theirs and I do not use their avenues of communication, as I only really know them from here and other boards... so that is where I go.
