I used to shave my head all the time too... with a razor. So now I am going bald. Yes, If you don't know how to use a razor, this could be you.

You may want to try this, its called Nioxin and it stopped mine falling out. It will not make hair grow but it keeps what you have. Costs me about $30 a month but well worth it if it works for you ?
Shampoo , Follicle Booster, and a ton of other stuff.

i started shaving my head when i hit 27 and have never looked back.

Started to.. propecia pretty much stops it in it's tracks though.. You just have to start taking it early enough.
