How do u guys check expired domains at yahoo ? I found 100s of sites and programs that claims to do this. Do they really work and most important ANY FREE ONE ??? :2 cents:

they all work, but some work faster than others.
yahtool will get you banned at google popularity onsnap is buggy as hell clickmojo is pretty fast (several updates per day) and all the names are fresh |
DropPal is new, and added a Yahoo checking tool.
You could plug DirectNIC lists into that. ----- Most scripts are slow, rely on daily updates rather than constant so many times you miss a lot of great names. You could always just visit ClickMojo if you're feeling lazy. Five minutes later you could own: - 20 new yahoo listed names (with categories showing you where they were listed too!), - 30 new dmoz (full categories again too) listed names, - at least as many powerful adult domains, - domains already getting traffic Not only that but you won't see these names listed at those other resources until tomorrow in most cases. Even the ones who claim "real-time" lists. Compare for yourself. Are you a dropcatcher or know a bit about expired domains already ? There are lists for the more advanced pro's too, giving you a good chance at picking up some even better yahoo or dmoz names before the pro's get them. Most members of ClickMojo know they can get scripts, and help anytime they need it by sending an email or an icq. They know they'll be getting help from someone who knows the domain game, and not just a programmer who hacked a script together. |

Google is strict on automatic queries. Yahoo isn't.
Every failed Yahoo checked name, defaults to a Google query. If you check 20,000 names and find 5 yahoo names. You found 19,995 defaulted google queries. This happened to me and a few others. Another tool that can get you blocked somewhere is WatchMyDomains. If you use that one too aggressively, it can result in a block from NetSol and whois checking. |
hmm not fun

just gotta know how to use the tools effectively and even then your still 10 steps behind someone else who already has taken the loot.
