I have no real script in mind, I remember seeing some search engine open source project some time ago, that looked like it was a lil above other SE scripts that I looked at at that time. if you want i can try to dig it up for you.

For the future reference, dxstar search plugin will provide site-specific searching capabilities is on our Todo list for dxstar.com. The plugin will be built with mind to provide fast, customisable search results feed in different formats.

why don't you use Google insted of writing a new one? :D
