Little venting here!


Starting off with fellow newbie webmasters....

I am not a porn god, I do not make 1 million dollars a day, yet I get about 60 emails a day from people saying "help me make money" or "dude I just need some quick cash" first of all, what is quick cash? do people not realize that money is mostly paid Via checks or wire transfers? where the fuck is "quick" This drives me insane.... Out of those 60 emails, about 20 are people saying "check my site out, what shoudl I do to make it better" I dont have any fucking time to go look at your page on some freehost let alone care about it, yet you will email me 15 times asking me what I thought.

Also webmasters and submissions, I have a submission form yet nobody seems to fucking use it.... I email people and tell them I delete submissions that are sent to my emailbox, Does anyone listen? Nope I still get 250 submissions daily, I installed an autoresponder telling these people to use my form, does it work? nope, 250 daily

also webmasters, dont try to redirect your sites once you think you have been accepted, I wait 5 days before posting your galleries anyways! Also dont complain if I dont post your shitty galleries with only 300k movies...... If the surfer wants stupid little clips they will go to moviepost.com

How retarded are some of these people? Do I look like KING CODEC, if your fucking movie wont work! do I know what version of media player you need? NO i dont, yet 4 or 5 of those emails show up everyday. "I cant play the movie" or "this site sucks I cant play the movie" well why dont you go fucking update your media player you piece of shit

I also love when you change your site format.... The people that send emails saying "we want the old format back" or "we wont come back till you change it back" Do i honestly look like I fucking care? you are 1 person out of 120,000/day that complained...

My personal favorite, when fucking surfers say "your site is popup hell" I dont have a goddamn console or even link to any sites that use popups..... What I do, is open each gallery in a new browser, how is this fucking popup hell? I email each one of them back and say, do you wanna see popup hell? click below

!!! fucking drives me insane, Dont you guys love it when you log on to Icq and it sounds like a storm of "uh oh" messages and broken class (authorization requests) this drives me mad, all simple messages like "what site do you own?" well you should fucking know, since you got my icq from it.... Or the webmasters that are like "I will see if I can trade 200 to 500" Do i want your pity traffic? go away!!!!!!! I get no fucking work done ever! and this damn board is addicting :)

I was about to ask why your fucking movies dont load, but I might reconsider it now..

about the webmaster questions... get a nex-cash account and tell them "there is no money to be made with sign-ups unless you get 500k/day avs traffic, so sign-up there and get paid 3c minimum per blind click and dont worry about ratios or your site design anymore". :winkwink:
those who ask the "can you make me some quick bucks" type of questions are mostly 14-18 yr old kids though.. and 20% doesnt seem to be a bad deal at all ;)

I love newbie surfers they are the ones that buy. Once they
get experienced they find all people that slowly destroy this business by giving the goodies away for free.

Why would any use sign up for a site when he can get enough
free stuff to yerk-off until he gets blisters on his cock? Fuck all
those freeloaders that try to leech all your content and burn
bandwidth those I send into popup hell. And of course all
people that don't speak a language that my sponsors is using
on his site.

Furthermore of course for example people that come from countries where the only credit cards they have are stolen.
Those piss me off. Newbies no way man they provide the
food on my table dude!

I can't have enough of them and when I have so many that I
can't help them I hire somebody to help them coz I know it will
be worth it.

Finally I can understand your frustration it's not always easy
and yes some people are just too much. But take the above in
account and you'll soon realise that it ain't that bad!

Bandwidth is not a problem for me, its the fact that the surfers that are the freeloading bastards, seem to think we webmasters "owe" them something

Newbies are the enemy, treat them as such. Teach them nothing. If they want it bad enough they will learn on their own. Dont even talk to them, it only encourages them.

Keep your ICQ on invis, never publish your UIN, never give it out. Make several fakes to use when talking to people you dont really know. I go so far as to register a new one each time I talk to someone I do not know. Takes 30 seconds, and you dont have to worry about "uh oh" ever again.
