Who would buy content sets for $5 each
 

Looking at stepping up the production here in Czech. We got the girls, we got the time and now we need to know what market to attack.

Eva and I are at full production shooting the better end stuff with the better girls and the www.paulmarkham site is probably selling content as well as it can.

However we have a lot of pretty girls and our two assistant shooters could do with more work. The girls are not bad, the assistants are fair shooters, so what I was thinking was sets of 50 to 60 images, ten clothed, 15 stripping, 20 nude and the rest fingers and some sets with toys. Would be ideal for galleries. We would sell them from www.bargainbasementcontent.com

So what webmasters would be interested in sets like this at $5 a set?

We have a few that do well in www.bargainbasementcontent.com, need to know the demand for more. They would be fresh and unseen girls, so not saturated.

I've offered people to put together sets of all the girls we have 1 or 2 pics of each for $2 a picture. No one took me up on the offer.

Seems dating is not that good a niche.

We've run www.bargainbasementcontent.com for over 4 years. The content is low quality, the price lower and the sales higher. Some people prefer to buy on price and for them it works. The cheap sets I'm talking about are purely for affiliates who want to buy their own content.

Others buy Internet Content on quality and for them www.paulmarkham.com is ideal. Good quality, higher prices and lower sales. This content seems to work best for paysite owners.

Sobe and Greg are fine giving a service to those who need it.

Inter-racial for us does not sell to the level it needs to justify shooting it.

One of the things I found on the Internet supplying content is that if there's profit in it someoen will shoot it. A lot of the fringe niches simply are not profitable to shoot.

I learnt there is more than one way to skin a rabbit. All those guys shooting exclusive for $150 set can carry on doing so. do you think these sets will sell 20, 30 or 50 times?

What specific content are you selling for $5 a set? Is it your entire overhead? With todays saturated industry, the finicky well educated surfer wont bite.

Do you do semi-custom sets?
IE. sets that are more towards a certain niche but not so specific that you get so few buyers of the content and hence charge more for it?
Just thinking with your bargain basement stuff if you had some niche sets (girls in stockings, leather, "lesbian" etc etc) charged a little more would it be worth your while?

True, true but to a certain extent. Quality is most important even if the price is $5 a set. Littering a site with cheep outdated saturated filler content can and will destroy a site along with your reputation.

I have made some tests with full excl. and non excl. content on few paysites and there is no big difference at all.
I think excl. is very needed for very niche sites but once you run some regular porn site then doesn't matter at all.

We will shoot it if you're willing to pay what it's worth non exclusive. But the truth is you will compare me on price to a clown who picked up a camera last year.

Plus non exclusive these sets will clear me another $150 a set after making $300 a set. And this is the not so good stuff. Are you prepared to pay $450 a set for stills or even $300? And we do not have a cash flow problem because we work for real money not peanuts.

Of course if you can't convert more surfers with decent content then I understand your situation. But many others can and do better with better content.

All content come with 2257, which is for the purchaser only. With our content now the normal license does not allow giving the content to affiliates, so there's no problem there.

The surfer has no interest what so ever in "Exclusive" porn. He's lookinmg for good porn he has not seen in his favourite niche. It can be exclusive or on 1,000 sites he's not interested he's got his dick out. :winkwink:

What he does like is "Themed" porn, like Bangbus or Buttman. Add that to some buying very old cheap content that's not very good and has been sold and then getting complaints, then everyone starts telling you exclusive is the key. It's not and never will be.
