Why bother for Netscape users? Look at your stats man nobody uses netscape and the idiot who does still uses netscape 4.2

What are you wanting it to do?
If you just want to change what's in the bottom window, use this.. works fine for me:

onmouseover="window.status='http://www.yadayada.com'; return true;"
