As most of you know, this is not my typical style of photography. I am considering offering content that is a step up from my regular amateur stuff. Do you think I should offer more of this kind of stuff on my site?

I think it's definitely good work... personally I'm into the amateur stuff, but I have a feeling there are more guys who like the polished chick out there, so you should be able to fetch better $$$ for it ... keep it up! =)

Any way if you can shoot a different style, go for it it has to be good for you.
Use the girls at first for the amateur "quick & easy" stuff.
As she get's used to you step up a gear and shoot the more demanding sets.

I agree, I am not really looking to sell this as high end because I know it is not. I have shot high end glamour stuff before and am still capable of doing so but it is not as enjoyable as the relaxed amatuer shoots. Just trying to find a happy medium. :)

Nice work... nice to see some folks have more than one dimension to their work... actually... (and I could be wrong) but higher end am work would probably be easier to sell... b/c why pay for something you can shoot yourself? (i'm still amazed that webmasters pay for pics that they can shoot themselves with a sony mavica... but then again.. I guess that is why they sell them for pennies each...)

one comment... on these actual pics... b/c I can't see the whole set... be sure not to cut off the heads and hair... it's hard to use the content for graphics work

Doing those kind of shoots were hard work, flying half way around the world. Fighting off the heat, humidity, jet lag and the food, plus when you did the jungle pics the spiders and insects.
Plus the trip was costing $15,000 and only that because there were four photographers sharing the costs.
But it was worth it, one good calendar/poster/postcard shot was worth $1,500, plus the magazine sets at $5,000 it was hard work but good money.
Then the stock market crashed and sudenly no one was spending money on "marketing & promotion" and the mags went "TEENS in bedrooms".
It was fun and we have a lot of stories to tell about it, but it's gone for most of us.
One of the photographers who went on the trips regular now shoots awesome B/W of castles/ruins for English Heritage and the Amateur stuff on my site, which frankly is @#~%¬ but sells just as well as our teeny. He's the only photographer I know with a black American Express card.
