Wired has now taken notice of my friend Pauls company that created Meetro, a location based messenger. Have a look at the article, link to Meetro in your blog if you want, and if you're really digging what hes doing, they're still looking for investors. Yeah, Paul and his brothers Dan and Pete are cool as shit. They all lived in Hawaii for awhile and it was fucking fun. I still have a shitload of video footage I need to go over and post, its fucking hilarious.

When you first made that thread about them months ago I did try it. It was cool but thing with something like this, you need people nearby you to give it that appeal. So its gotta grow and fast in the beginning to keep people's attention. Otherwise, it's just another messenger.

I still can't get it to work, uninstalled twice.

Sounds like an interesting way to meet neighbors or hot chicks while killing time at airports etc but like WG said, unless there is a huge publicity push to get a bunch of people using it fast, you will just log on, see nobody and prob never use it again.
