Can you buy blank UMDs are there any programs to create UMD movies from DVD's?

You can't write to UMD's or buy blanks, but you can encode movies onto memory sticks in a format readable by the PSP. They have 2GB memory sticks out now that are compatible with the PSP.

sony is strict on this issue: even studios like warner etc don't get a writer or blank UMD's. And as long as they keep it that way it won't be a big success imho
