A bit off topic.... but did you notice the new friendster layout and features change? I guess the $500+M buyout of Intermix woke Friendster up to their limitations.

I have not really looked at friendster, but in reality, if either would have taken the time to branch out a bit, both could be worth quite a bit. they have such huge marketing power

Friendster had a big shake up recently in a panic to try and hold on to a bit of their former glory.

The new Friendster has been dubbed Friendspace for their obvious attempt to regain market share.

One thing that haven't fixed is the lame factor.

Friendster actually has a lot of overseas traffic. Some would say it's mostly overseas. If they would only accept that fact and turn it to their advantage. Lots of $$$ to be made in remitance services and other US --> overseas services. :2 cents:

friendster is dead in my opinion,i dont know ANYONE who doesnt have a myspace profile or two...i think myspace will be as big as ebay someday..
