would they really go after webmasters with obscenity charges for building legal & 2257 compliant websites? think we shold all keep track of the state obscenity laws in our home states. i hear even some city's have obscenity laws. good thing i live a block down the street from a porn shop..i'm in an obscenity free zone.

its not a matter of 2257 compliant, its a matter of what the local government or the US govenment considers Osbcene. they alreayd mentioned Urination as a target. im sure some of the more extreme sites are likey to have issues as well

I would like to agree with you, but think of this. If i wanted to kill a certain niche would i go after 1000's of free sites or 20 Paysites that the free sites are promoting..... I think they will choose to " Cut the Head of the Snake"

it goes beyond the porn industry - this is entering into the hollywood movie turf. Now they are being told by the government what to shoot and not to shoot. Show one nipple and a movie producer and company can loose everything??

This is very serious - nice of them to hide the constitution in the top drawer.

I think this is free promotion for porn in mainstream media. Not a damn thing will happen except more people viewing porn. If someone is dragged into court it will make them famous and more money.

they cant Nuke the industry. The adult internet is a world wide enterprise. al lthey will do is force US webmasters to move there Sites, Companies and bank books to other countries, for them to Stop porn they will need to Cut the internet from Non US IP's then it will be considered the Usnet.
