Gamers!

Whats your favorite game??

TopTGP 02-27-2002 12:08 PM

My favorite game isn't on the list. Try Motor City Online, and halflife (not the original, but all the modifications that have been released for it)

Jakke PNG 02-27-2002 12:20 PM

Pocketpool is a noble sport.

Rochard 02-27-2002 12:31 PM

Halflife / Counterstrike.... The Lightspeed (Party) Office has a small network and all of the computers have it installed. After hours we boot up and beat the crap out of each other.....

Rogue Spear:Blackthorn and Urban Ops...Lemme know if you play...I'll be sure to rape you next time around...

Altima 02-27-2002 01:39 PM

FFX is the bomb square has done it again and guess what only 1 more year till there online version of this new type of rpg comes out!!:2 cents:

cable53 02-27-2002 01:43 PM

Unreal Tournament is my favourite game.

Slick 02-27-2002 01:53 PM

Everquest is probably the most played game that I've ever owned. For the last year and a half now, I put in HUNDREDS of hours into it and I still crave playing it.

My first impressions on the game were that it sucked after I first started tinkering with it, but after I got going, I feel in love, ha ha ha.

I know its old school but did anyone play any of the ultima series(I-VIII)?

A RPG way ahead of its time!

bunky 02-27-2002 02:11 PM

anyone know if i can get mah account back? and how?

GTS Mark 02-27-2002 02:16 PM

I was a Ultima Online junky for about 3 years! Jesus I was absolutely hooked and some of my buddies have been playing it since the very beginning.

I was the "Infamous" Irish Assassin (Player Killer)

I also played a shitload of counterstrike but too many cheaters kinda ruined it for me.

Since formatting the old C: I have been way too busy to install any games back on it.

amadman 02-27-2002 02:24 PM

I never did get Ultima online.

But I was playing the first ones on the c-64.
I have had I-VIII over the years. I think I only finished like 2 of them though :) Pretty tough games really.

You should be able to up to a certain period. I THINK that they'll hold your characters for 6 months, I could be wrong on the length of time, but something makes me wanna say that they still keep your character for that long before tossing it out.

Smegma 02-27-2002 03:00 PM

This is one of the best games I have played in years.

Flight Sim 2002.

Haven't had much time lately to play, but I have always been a big fan of Counter-Strike......it is by far the best mod I have ever seen for Halflife....Been waiting for an invite from the lightspeed boys to tear it up at their office :winkwink: ......I hear they like to play often..

burn 02-27-2002 03:17 PM

What a lame list my favorite is quake 3 and RTCW

Minte 02-27-2002 03:53 PM

How could you forget Q2? its still the best!

Steve 02-27-2002 04:01 PM

Homeworld was cool (so were the mods for it)
The whole Fallout series was a lot of fun, too.

For old time PC gamers, anyone remember Master Of Orion? I haven't played a game in months, but if MOO3 comes out, I'll buy it - I'll have time, eventually.

Man there are some good games missing on this list...

Civilization (All of them)
Ultima IV (My personal favorite and the hours of just swapping disks on my old C64)
Zork
Full Throttle (Man if was fun playing that bad ass)
Wizardry (Original)

Up and Coming
Dungeon Siege (Gonna be a good one here)
Asherons Call 2 (Downloaded a movie of the game play from file planet last night. DAMN!!!)
MOO3 (Looks good as hell.)
State of Emergency (The Crew that made Grand Theft Auto III comes through again)

Eric

Danny_C 02-27-2002 08:33 PM

There's not a single shooter on your list.

My favorite: Medal of Honor. No doubt about it.

kmanrox 02-27-2002 09:38 PM

Warcr@ft 3 is kinda fun.

drunkmonkey 02-28-2002 02:31 AM

I gave up pc games because I always felt guilty playing them. To me, a computer that is not making money is too heart wrenching. I got the xbox the day it came out and have to say that it is as good if not better than pc games. At least I can play it on the big screen and it doubles as a DVD. I do play Nascar 3 on my pc still because of the force feedback wheel. I have never understood how people can play driving games with a joystick, gamepad, or keyboard.

Halo totally kicks ass. Best FPS game I have ever played. Took me 110 hours to beat it on the easy level. Awesome game. Online play is killer. I highly recommend the xbox.

Now where the fuck did I put my beer...

Brian911 02-28-2002 05:50 AM

lol you remember SubSpace? :)
addictive game I have to say.. some players even remade the client so its still playable even though Virgin Interactive didnt want to support it anymore

Helix 02-28-2002 05:50 AM

Started playing BZFlag when I was working on a unix box, for mindless slaughter its hard to beat.
