I like tattoos on myself (which is good because I'm covered), and use to be a tattoo artist before starting this job, but god I HATE them on my models. In fact I turned away Jassie last week because of an armband that her agent didn't know she had. First thing outta my mouth to an agent is "No tattoos".

being covered in Tattoos isn't for everyone and probably wouldn't look right with your style but i am shocked that of all places you would pick the neck for your sudle tattoo ... the neck is a big move ... it's in the same realm as the hands .... I have lots of tattoos but still haven't made the move to hands or necks .. i know a lot of places that won't even tattoo the hand and neck unless they feel that your fully committed and have many tattoos ... those two places bring the most judgments ... Tattoos are one of those things that you either like and commit to or you don't ... if you do go for the neck go for the back of the neck .. it's a pretty cool place and if low enough you can cover with a collar if needed .. :thumbsup

Some people like tats, some dont, just as some people like blondes while others like brunettes. Its just a matter of taste for the individual.

I will agree that there are a lot of tats that look retarded, you know the ones that had no forthought put into them or the same flash used over and over again on every girls lower back and arm.

tattoo's don't spread as much as they used to .. the new inks are much better .... not to many new tatts will look like those blue blobs that the sailors in your generation have now ..... you also have to realize that personally i do it for me ..in 30 years I'm looking at a blurred tatt ... it will still have the same meaning to me and that's all that matters ...
